This year, Winetech continued to support and promote research, innovation, knowledge transfer and people development in the South African wine industry.
The team remained committed to ensuring the delivery of high-quality research and innovation outcomes, thereby providing valuable knowledge resources to the South African wine industry. Winetech supported various projects, from vineyard management and winemaking practices to sustainability and innovative initiatives. Winetech also made significant strides in advancing its strategic priorities, including strengthening its partnerships with the research community and various industry stakeholders and investing in new research areas that will provide long-term value. The contributions of Winetech’s dedicated committee members and the ongoing funding and support of industry partners supported its efforts.
