The wait is over... Diemersfontein Rosé 2023 is ready!!!
Diemersfontein's rosé has, in recent years, become a favourite for many of you, resulting in the regretful burden of a 'sold out' sign. By tweaking the yields, we manage to slightly increase the production every year, anticipating the ever growing demand, in an attempt to make sure that you get to enjoy a steady stream of this delicious wine.
Luckily the wait is over, as we proudly announce the launch of our 2023 vintage of the Diemersfontein Rosé.
When asked about our new Rosé vintage, winemaker Francois Roode, had this to say: "This year the Rosé consists of mainly Mourvèdre with Grenache Noir and Cinsault. Grapes were healthy and sourced from selected vineyards destined to produce Rosé. With a gentle pressing of the grapes, we have limited the extraction of colour and produced a light and delicate style of Rosé. Aromatics of red fruit and candy floss followed by a fresh lingering taste makes this wine complete any picnic for the upcoming spring or with your favourite sushi."
