Beyerskloof
The 2023 harvest is in full swing, once again reminding us at Beyerskloof how much we rely on our environment for success.

At Beyerskloof, we continue to incorporate more sustainable and ethical practices so that we can leave a strong legacy. We are proud to share our commitment with you.

Ethical farming

As part of our commitment to ethical farming, we prioritise WIETA and IPW accreditations. We are pleased to announce that we have recently received updated accreditations for both, which we see as an essential component of our company ethos.

Solar energy

Renewable energy is also integral to our sustainability efforts. We recently installed a solar plant on the roof of our cellar, which is currently providing up to 50% of our energy requirements for the operational side of our Cellar and Hospitality.

Vineyard practices

Our sustainable vineyard practices are also worth mentioning. At Beyerskloof, most farming efforts are done by hand, and we practice biological pest control to further increase our sustainability efforts.

Carbon footprint

In line with our commitment to sustainability, we recently achieved Carbon Hero status through our participation in Confronting Climate Change's Carbon Footprint initiative.
