What to expect

• A welcome brandy and bubbly cocktail with light snacks during the session
• A fantastic presentation by Dr Winifred Bowman in collaboration with the South African Brandy Foundation
• A tutored tasting of 6 local and international brandies 

Meet Dr Winnie Bowman

Brandy connoisseur and ambassador, Dr Winnie Bowman earned an Evaluation of Port from Stellenbosch University Department of Viticulture and Oenology in 2007 and became a Cape Wine Master in 2008. She has judged wine for more than 10 years at Veritas, the John Platter Wine Guide and CTICC Wine Selection to name a few.

She is also a member of the exclusive South African Brandy Guild, as well as the Grand Maître of the Commanderie de Bordeaux en Afrique du Sud. 

Winnie's passion and expertise are a contagious combination and any doubt that brandy is indeed the very heart of wine is sure to be allayed at this wonderful experience.
