Since our very first vintage in 2007, proceeds from Painted Wolf Wines sales have allowed us to donate over R3,4 million to the conservation of the highly endangered African wild dog (also known as the Painted Wolf or Painted Dog).
After 15 successful years, we find ourselves at an important juncture and require further cash investment to support our plan to donate a minimum of R1 million per year in conservation. Our aim is to be South Africa's leading conservation wine producer, and in doing so work towards fulfilling our mantra “remarkably persistent and persistently remarkable”.

How your investment will work for Painted Wolf Wines
Painted Wolf Wines has produced wine at ten different cellars and stored finished goods at a further five warehouse locations over fifteen years. Each cellar has different equipment and ways of working, which have made wine production both challenging and interesting! As we have grown, production has become progressively more complicated and expensive, especially with the significant distances between the locations. The need to consolidate everything under one roof has been planned for some time but needs to be implemented as a matter of urgency!
We have signed a lease for a 500m² manufacturing space adjacent to our tasting room and offices to secure the building, but now require investment to fully equip and staff the cellar in order to fulfill our production and quality needs.
This requires a cash injection of R3 million and we are looking to fund this mainly from private loans, to be repaid over a period with our best wines and other benefits.
