Join us for an exciting 1 hour e-training session developed especially for tourism offices, tour guides and tour operators in the wine industry, enabling you to tap into the tourist demand for unique experiences and to attract conscious consumers who want to support sustainable wine farms, by telling stories of exceptional wine produced with nature in mind.

- Understanding the unique ecology and threats facing the unique Cape Floral Kingdom, the importance of biodiversity conservation in the Cape Winelands and how to engage stakeholders on these issues.
- Understanding the role of tourism in Sustainable Wine Tourism, and the benefits of the WWF Conservation Champions programme, including ecotourism.
- Insights into unique sustainability efforts implemented on WWF Conservation Champion wine farms.
- Discover the range of collective marketing tools and resources available to tourism offices, tour operators and tour guides, including practical storytelling tips to promote sustainability stories.

The session is facilitated by Angela Barter, founder of The PR Agency and capacity and development training partner for the WWF-SA Conservation Champion programme. Angela holds a MPhil in Environmental Management from Stellenbosch University and is a PRISA-accredited Chartered Public Relations Practitioner and Sustainability Communication Strategist, as well as a highly regarded local and global public speaker who has written numerous articles featured in a range of media.
