Growing up as a 'bosbokkie', owner and winemaker Jeremy Borg worked in the safari industry where he developed a love for the outdoors and wildlife. It was a natural progression that from the first day of opening the doors of Painted Wolf Wines, that they would always donate a percentage of their turnover to wildlife conservation and in their case, wild dogs.
Having enjoyed wine as a youngster with his parents in Malawi, he was fortunate enough to have the eccentric South African architect Max Bruessow open a bottle of Château Margaux with him to celebrate Jeremy passing his A-levels in Rhodesia. Now that is the way to graduate! No wonder he was hooked on wine after that!
