We find ourselves in troublesome times as we all attempt to navigate this new and unknown territory brought upon us by the Coronavirus pandemic. As we begin to understand the wide-reaching consequences of COVID-19 on our country and its people, we all need to play our part in helping President Cyril Ramaphosa in his attempts to ''flatten the curve'' and minimise the spread.
We wish to assure you that to date, to the best of our knowledge, no Steenberg staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. The health and safety of our dedicated staff is of utmost priority and steps are continuously being taken to ensure their well-being.
Steenberg Wine Tasting and Restaurant
Steenberg Tasting Room and Bistro Sixteen82 will remain closed until further notice.
Our wines are, as always, available for purchase online and we are offering free delivery on all orders from now until 30 April. Our production and distribution teams are continuing to work under strict hygiene conditions to bring our wines to you.
Tryn, our new signature restaurant, is closed to all external guests, until further notice.
Steenberg Hotel
The Hotel will close as of Saturday, 28 March 2020 and reopen on Wednesday, 15 April 2020, subject to further developments.
All bookings as of Monday, 23 March 2020 may be postponed without penalty to a future date within the next 12 months excluding Dec/Jan/Feb.
Outright cancellations will be managed on a case by case basis.
No new bookings for the period between 20 March and 15 April 2020 will be confirmed.
New bookings from 15 April 2020 will be accepted on a provisional basis.
Events
All bookings as of 20 March 2020 may be postponed to a future date within the next 12 months. No penalty fee will apply.

The spa is closed until further notice.
Our products are still available to purchase, please e-mail us on spa@steenberghotel.com to place your order and we will courier them to you.
