Hazendal
Hazendal celebrates family and loves being the destination for all your journeys. This current journey is a bit of a rocky road, but we want you to know we are here for you. After careful thought and consultation, we have as a Hazendal team decided to reduce our offering and limit our guest experiences for the time being, to play our part in #flattenthecurve
Across the estate, the following will apply:
  • We will limit the amount of visitors to the estate
  • Mandatory temperature reading taken before entering the estate with a non-touch, infra-red thermometer for all staff and guests
  • All surfaces are being wiped down with increased frequency with high alcohol content sanitizing products
  • Hand sanitizers are available at frequent intervals on the estate for all staff and guests to use
  • Our wide open air spaces naturally allow for our guests to enjoy our hospitality while maintaining social distancing
  • All staff have access to an on-site health practitioner to guide and assist us during this time

Wine tasting lounge, Babushka deli, terrace, toddler play area & the picnic lawns

  • Open Tuesday to Saturday 09:00 - 17:00 and Sunday 09:00-13:00
  • Only 50 guests at a time
  • ( On Saturday 21 March due to the public holiday, all venues will only be open until 1 pm)

Wonderdal & Wildlands open-air play space, MTB Park

  • Open for Holiday Programme and once-off regular visits, Tuesday to Saturday 09:00-17:00 and Sunday 09:00-13:00
  • Only 50 kids at a time
  • Second temperature screening with non- touch, infra-red thermometer and increased hand washing and sanitizing.
  • ( On Saturday 21 March due to the public holiday, all venues will only be open until 13:00)
We are hopeful that we will be able to re-open all venues and experiences soon. In the meantime you can enjoy our Hazendal range of wines from home via our partnership with Takealot.
We remain committed to the safety and health of our team,  all our visitors, and community. We are pro-actively monitoring the situation and ready to take any and all appropriate action.
We sincerely believe that together, we will overcome this challenging time and cope with the difficulties and restraints with consideration (and a touch of resilient humour).
Please follow our social media pages for the latest updates.
As a family owned and run estate, our thoughts are with you and your loved ones and we look forward to welcoming you again very soon.
