The night once again promises to be a highlight in the winelands with delicious food, good wine and performances by Afrikaans music legends.
With this year's harvest underway and a wonderful feeling of expectation throughout the winelands, it is time for the annual concert at Neethlingshof in Stellenbosch. The concert will be held on the eve before the Woordfees starts, making it possible for more visitors to Stellenbosch to enjoy this fun evening.
Retief Viljoen, known for songs such as 'Droomvanger' and ‘Soos die wind’, will open the concert and entertain guests with his well-known songs.
He will be followed by the legendary Valiant Swart who will treat guests to his music that spans over three decades.
There is also great excitement to welcome Anton Goosen and Schalk Joubert to the stage together where they will perform a feast of Afrikaans songs. Goosen recently celebrated 40 years in the music industry and his timeless music will be one of the highlights of the evening.
Delicious food and wine will be sold but guests are also welcome to bring their own picnic baskets, however, no own alcoholic beverages will be allowed.
