This year we submitted 3 wines to the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC).

We were exhilarated to find out at Cape Wine this month that we had been awarded one gold and two silver medals for our entries!

IWSC awards are globally recognised as a mark of outstanding quality and with entries from over 90 countries worldwide, the IWSC really sets an international benchmark for excellence in wine. This year our Red Muscadel 2015 was awarded gold, while both our Land’s End Sauvignon Blanc 2017 and Land’s End Syrah 2015 received a silver medal.

“More Gold and Gold Outstanding medals are being awarded to South African wines than ever before at the IWSC, following a 13.5% increase on wine entries from the country last year.” - wine.co.za.

IWSC judge and Cape Wine Master Winnie Bowman also said that The IWSC is one of the most recognised and respected wine competitions worldwide. “Judging is rigorous and wines are assessed blind by a panel, especially for their style and sense of place”, said Bowman.
