“Taste of Tygervalley” Wine Fest
The annual Taste of Tyger Valley wine festival is fast becoming an institution in Winter. The 2018 event is set for Friday 29 June from 17h00-21h00 and Saturday 30 June from 14h00-18h00 in the Arena in the centre.

Tickets are R100 pp and can be obtained from www.computicket.co.za or from the Box Office at the festival.

But if you were still wondering about whether to join in the fun, here’s 10 good reasons NOT to miss out!

#1
Taste wine from all over South Africa in ONE spot!  Wine from the Northern Cape,  the Klein Karoo,  Hemel and Aarde Valley, Robertson, Stellenbosch, Somerset West and Paarl – as well as some old favourites from Durbanville are on show!

#2
20 wineries are bringing their best to showcase to wine fans in Cape Town’s northern suburbs.  You can taste around 100-120 wines in the Arena at Tygervalley Centre on 29 and 30 June.

#3
Safe under cover parking at Entrance 3 gives you direct access to the Arena court – whatever the weather,  this festival will warm you from inside and out.

#4
Don’t miss out on the wine pairings with Lindt’s new chocolate range at our dedicated pairing counter.   For a small additional fee you can taste, indulge and make up your own mind!

#5
Make use of your discount food coupons to take a break from the tastings to have something to eat  in our upstairs food court, and then join us again for more tastings.

#6
Not only can you taste, share and compare, but you can also buy wine directly from the producers AND our runners will assist you to get it to your car.

#7
Your ticket of only R100 gives you a branded crystal glass to take home as well as access to most tastings! (Here and there a winery might have a rare or vintage wine on offer for which there is a small additional fee – but that’s up to you!)

#8
Take a break from the wine and check out the Montagu Dried Fruit & Nuts stand, the Lindt studio, the le Creuset display and Aquacello who produces water out of thin air.

#9
The Friday night event is great from 5-9 pm to ease you into the weekend and end off a hard week’s work.  On Saturday do your shopping first, leave it in the car, and join us from 2-6 for great wines and fun times as part of your relaxing weekend.

 #10
Tickets are limited, which makes it a comfortable event to visit.  You have easy access to the exhibitors,  have time to chat to the wineries and can relax in one of our seating areas to chat to friends and fellow wine fans. No rush, no fuss, no crush!
