You can access the entire South African wine portfolio, which will be available to taste within this area, in advance online via our virtual catalogue, ‘Bottlebooks’. This online catalogue will be available from the second week of February 2018.
Our 'Discover South Africa' tasting area promises to be one of the highlights of ProWein. Here you can sample 60 of South Africa’s award-winning wines. This year there will be a selection of red wines, white wines and Methóde Cap Classique in a range of styles and varietals, each having at least one top-end local or international award or rating. We encourage visitors to make use of this exciting opportunity to discover how the South African wine industry is constantly raising the bar on innovation and quality.
For those of you who would like to experience even more of South Africa’s vinous delights, we would like to extend a heartfelt invitation to join us at South Africa’s premier wine showcase, CapeWine 2018. The event, which only takes place every three years in the heart of Cape Town, sees over 350 South African producers come together in one venue over three days to showcase what we do best. An array of industry events and parties allude not only to the quality of our wine, but the true nature of our land and the unrivalled hospitality of our people.
