Through the Skills Development Fund of Pyrotec, a company owned by the Beattie family with head office in Cape Town, more than 200 individuals are getting tuition in all spheres of life – degrees, diplomas, internships – all over South Africa. Amongst these are the staff at Esona Boutique Wine. At Esona, Hirchill is on a management course, Daneen and Shandré on a chef’s course and Charmaine on a winemaker’s course.
