There will be 72 sessions in Afrikaans and Xhosa this year, and will be held across all 9 regions in the winelands, kicking off with a focus on various cultivars: Chenin, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz and Pinotage.
The sessions will include cultivar identification, basic winemaking procedures, wine styles, the preparation of special late harvest and noble late harvest wines, new techniques and/or additives and wine tasting.

MORE ABOUT THE SESSIONS:
- Sessions 1 – 3 from 15:00 – 16:30
- Session 4 from 14:30 – 16:30 as Nedbank will be allocated 30 minutes at the end of the session to present budgeting skills
- Each session will include a short bit on the responsible use of alcohol
- Study groups in the different districts will only be continued if a minimum of 10 cellar workers attend the study groups
- Wine Tasting to show examples of wine styles covered per session
- Top 10 Evaluation will be held at Nietvoorbij on Thursday 22nd September 2016
- SA Cellar Worker Information Day will be held on Friday 28th October 2016
