Robin’s dedication to unrivalled customer service, love of fine
dining and appreciation of good wine, have culminated in him fulfilling the
role of Restaurant Manager at Mint, the Local Grill, in Cape Town’s finest luxury hotel, Taj Cape
Town.
Robin’s hospitality career dates back to 2006, where he worked in
banqueting in Ireland’s exquisite Lyrath Estate Hotel and Spa. After graduating
with a diploma in Hospitality Management from the International Hotel School in
Cape Town in 2012, Robin continued to pursue his dream by fulfilling restaurant
management roles in some of the country’s finest hotels, including Sun
Internationals, Maslow Hotel and Belmont Mount Nelson Hotel before joining Cape
Town’s finest luxury hotel, Taj Cape Town.
When Robin isn’t researching the latest wine and food pairing
trends, he enjoys keeping active by playing golf and surfing.
