As a prelude to this remarkable milestone, prospective buyers were invited to attend a recent preview of the wines that will be auctioned on September 12th & 13th at Nederburg in Paarl. Judging by the feedback received, the wines clearly made an impression, with one buyer commenting that it was "heartening to see the rigorous selection being maintained. I am sure that those wines that did not appeal to us will be snapped up by other buyers.”
Forty years is a long time, so it’s comments like these that provide the ultimate testament to the Auction’s ability to seek out, select and offer distinctive wines for discerning buyers.
