Thank you for the support, holding thumbs and good luck wishes in the run-up to the announcement of the results. Winemaker Josef told his 9 year old daughter he came in at 11th place, although there is no specific order in which the awards are given (he did get smiles and a big hug!)
At Raka we strive to put quality in every bottle. To prove this very statement, we say by achieving a spot in the Top 20 out of the 112 entries with 65 distinguished brands competing in the Absa Top 10 Pinotage competition, is already an achievement. We take it further to say the average score for all 20 Top20 finalist’s wines is 91.30 at an average cost of R397.15 per bottle. The average score of all the Top10 finalists is 92.11, at an average cost of R432.90 per bottle.
The place in the Top 20 confirms the quality as expected in our Raka wines, but at the very decent price of R125 per bottle (before any discount or specials) we proudly offer you quality in every bottle. Our online shop awaits.
