Spring is progressing beautifully in the vineyards, with some early stages of flowering giving way to fruit set and berry formation. Chardonnay, Muscat, and Gewürztraminer have completed flowering and are now forming small berries, while many of the reds are still in this critical flowering phase.
The work in the vineyards is focused on careful suckering and leaf removal, allowing sunlight to reach the young bunches, which is essential for developing a rich flavour profile.
We are also busy with fertilization, providing the right balance of nitrogen and micro-nutrients to ensure healthy vine growth without stress.
