The Zevenwacht team has done it again, achieving remarkable success at this year’s prestigious Investec Trophy Wine Show.
We are delighted to announce that our Z Collection Reserve 2021 was awarded the Riedel Trophy for Best Bordeaux-Style Red Blend and that Zevenwacht secured second place in the Top 10 Most Successful Producers category.
In addition, we also achieved top honours for these wines:
- Z Collection Sauvignon Blanc 2023: Gold - 97 points
- Tin Mine Red 2021: Silver - 93 points
- Tin Mine White 2023: Silver 90 points
Z Collection Reserve 2021
The Z Collection Reserve 2021 is a complex blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. It shows intense cassis, wet tobacco, blackberry and liquorice with undertones of graphite and allspice. The palate is full-bodied with an elegant structure giving it ample maturation potential.
