Neb Gusic (Orbit Wines UK) representing Cederberg Wines at the IWSC awards celebration in London.
The International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC)'s annual awards celebration is a chance to celebrate the successes of members of the wine and spirit industry and announce the IWSC's coveted Trophy winners. This year, the ceremony was hosted on Tuesday evening, 12 November at the Roundhouse in London, UK.
The IWSC revealed Cederberg Cellar as the winner of their 2024 South African Wine Producer Trophy.
"Cederberg's medal tally at the 2024 IWSC speaks for itself: three golds and four silvers – a truly excellent hit-rate. David Nieuwoudt's family-owned winery has long been a pioneer in the production of elegant, balanced wines from its unique, high-altitude vineyards, many miles north of the 'classic' Cape regions. In recent years quality has risen yet further; they can be relied on for outstanding quality across several grape varieties, and at remarkably sensible price points," shared the IWSC judges.
Celebrating their victory, Cederberg said: "A huge shoutout goes to our vineyard team and winemakers for crafting yet another spectacular collection of wines. Thank you to Neb Gusic from Orbit Wines UK for representing Cederberg Wines at the IWSC awards evening."
