South Africa’s largest regional wine festival, The Stellenbosch Wine Festival, will this year be held from 5 to 7 August at Paul Roos Gymnasium in Stellenbosch. The main attraction will be the more than 400 wines, all from the famous Stellenbosch region and representing some of the most renowned wineries in South Africa, will be available for tasting. These wineries include Rust-en-Vrede, Kanonkop, Thelema, Annandale, Jordan, Warwick, De Trafford, Waterford and Delheim – to name but a few.At the Stellenbosch Wine Festival the wines will be complemented by a host of activities, including winemaker cook-offs, wine and food pairing seminars, tours of old Stellenbosch, tutored wine tastings by the Cape Wine Academy and a Sushi workshop.
