Enjoy an evening with true Italian flair created by the formidable Dalla Cia father and son duo, Giorgio and George, who will showcase their boutique wines and Grappa paired with a magnificent feast at the Table Bay Hotel’s landmark restaurant, The Atlantic, on Thursday, 27 May.

To accompany the Dalla Cia Sauvignon Blanc 2003 and the newly released Dalla Cia Chardonnay 2003, the Table Bay’s Executive Chef Grant Cullingworth will team up with Sun International’s Michelin Star Group Executive Chef Conrad Gallagher, to pamper palates with an alluring 6-course menu.

The evening will start with an intriguing Fieno aperitif – a herb infused white wine made in Milan by Giorgio’s brother, Franco. The finale will be a decadent dessert accompanied by Giorgio’s famous Grappa, just released with brand new labels proudly embossed with the Dalla Cia family crest.

Passionate winemaker, gourmand, accomplished chef, philosopher, antique collector and wild mushroom expert. These are just some of the qualities with which one associates the name, Giorgio Dalla Cia. Giorgio who has just stepped down as full time winemaker at Meerlust after 25 years, is now redirecting all his passion and energy towards expanding the family wine and Grappa business with his son, George.
