A tasty new restaurant
Now that the tasting room and visitors facility at Sentinel Castle are in full swing, a tasty new restaurant has opened on the premise to add new flavour to the visitor experience. Olivia’s serves light lunches throughout the day as well as coffee and a range of soft drinks.

The atmosphere is laid-back winelands, with lashings of Provençal and Barossa Valley style supplied by the proprietor’s epicurean travels. The exciting menu, which changes daily according to the availability of fresh ingredients, is anchored by classic dishes reworked in the Olivia’s style.

For summer, try the succulent Thai Beef Salad with a coriander, mint and lime dressing, or the smoked salmon and pecan salad with a verjuice dressing. Winter dishes include rosemary lamb shanks with roasted vegetables, and a winter-warmer soup made fresh every morning. And all year round you can enjoy great coffee with fresh, real butter pastries and homemade brownies. Olivia’s shares seating space with the Sentinel tasting room and the two form an enticing, complementary partnership.

Opening hours:
10h00-16h00 Monday to Friday
09h30-16h00 Saturday and Sunday

Olivia’s and the Sentinel Castle are available for small functions and catering events.
