Leading celebrities will be modeling in the Nederburg Show 2004
Anneline Kriel, Karen Barnard, Josie Borain, Wilma van der Bijl, Michele McLean …. the list reads like the who’s who of South Africa’s beautiful people over the past three decades.

These and other leading celebrities like Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Amor Vittone, Joost van der Westhuizen, Batsetsana Khumalo and Megan Kruger will be modeling in the Nederburg Show 2004, an interactive fashion cabaret being staged in a surprise venue at the winery in Paarl.

The by-invitation-only event, on Saturday, April 3, is being staged to mark the 30th anniversary of the Auction of Rare Cape Wines at Nederburg. Devised by fashion supremo Jan Malan, the star-studded fashion performance is being repeated for the public on Sunday, April 4 at Nederburg, in aid of the Organ Donor Foundation of Southern Africa. It traces fashion over the past 30 years and looks at what lies ahead, featuring veteran couturiers from Elzbieta Rozenwerth, Peter Soldatos and Chris Levin to the more established designers like Gavin Rajah, Hip Hop, Malcolm Kluk and newer talents Darkie, Black Coffee and Craig Native.

Tickets are still available at R250, R350 and R1 000 each and include a serving of Nederburg wine and canapés and an exhibition of lifestyle, health and beauty put on by some of the country’s leading glossies, a beauty house and health spa.
