The vineyards are thriving at the moment. Our team is busy topping, which means trimming back the excess vine growth so the energy goes into the grapes rather than long shoots.
It keeps the vines balanced and healthy through summer. We’re also at the pea-size stage, which is when the berries start forming the shape and structure they’ll carry into the rest of the season.
It’s a really exciting growth phase – everything that happens now sets the foundation for next year’s harvest.
