Val du Charron Wine & Leisure Estate
Our new winemaker, Juhan, has created a new product in our Reserve collection - Val du Charron Rosè. This blend of 64% Chardonnay, 18% Grenache Blanc, 14% Rousanne, 4% Mouvedre is dry yet crisp and refreshing. Its "cupid’s lips" colour and flavours of watermelon and strawberry make it a sure hit this season. South African wine fans can order online Here. What else is new?
Room 8 has had a makeover! With third quarter and December holidays around the corner, we decided it was time for our popular family room has to take on a fresh look.
Early bird summer specials are now live on our website, and bookings are open for Christmas Lunch and New Year's Eve dinner and dancing.
With 2019 rapidly drawing to a close, we are expanding our conferencing facilities to cater for our corporates as well as special functions requiring a unique setting. Watch this space closer to the end of the month for the beauty shots.

National Braai Day on 24th September
The whole of Val du Charron will be celebrating - and with braai broodjies baked in our wood-fired oven at Pizza Vista, and a celebration of all things beef at the Grillroom to choose from, the foodies will be happy. For the kids there will be lots of sweet treats, a mechanical bull and shoot out corral. Live music will be playing and the wine (and the occasional brandewyn and coke) will be flowing. Black Friday sale on 29 November
This year, not only will the cellar doors open at 10h00 with wines on sale from R15, but Grillroom will be running its R49 burger and chips special while Pizza Vista has its very own Black Friday Pizza going on. Join the events on Facebook.
La Dolce Vista @ Val du Charron
When the weather is fine, we have ice cream on our minds! Our pop-up ice cream shop will be opening soon on the lawns of Pizza Vista @ Val du Charron. Stay tuned on Facebook for launch details.
Both our restaurants will be open on the 25th December for special celebratory lunches, and 31st December will see the Grillroom host its ever-popular dinner dance.
