Record number of entries received for the 2019 SA Terroir Wine Awards

SA Terroir Wine Awards
The judging of the SA Novare  SA Terroir wine competition started today at Nederburg in Paarl.

A record number of 328 entries from 73 participants have been received, a positive growth of 25%.  Last year there were 261 entries from 49 participants – this year 67 more entries and 24 more cellars.

Bennie Howard, vice – chairman of the SA National Wine Show and the new organisers of the SA Terroir competition, says they are delighted with the record number of entries “ We are very happy to see the healthy growth of both participants and entries, which is a clear indication of the importance of this unique competition in our industry” .
