The added tasting, aptly named 25 Years of Inspirational Stellenbosch on the 14th August,will feature wines from Stellenbosch sourced during the past 25 years, following which sumptuous cheese boards will be served family - style.
Furthermore, the 25-Year Celebratory Tasting Series will be traveling to Johannesburg and Pretoria on the 21st and 22nd August respectively, showing wines from the past two decades to the Ken Forrester enthusiasts.
On 16th November, the signing of the title deed will be celebrated with a long-table luncheon in front of the original manor house on the Ken Forrester Estate with delicious seasonal dishes, live music and wines from the Ken Forrester collection.
All proceeds from the tasting series will be donated to Spark Schools, an educational institution committed to providing top-class education to the children of the Winelands. “This is a cause that we care about deeply at Ken Forrester Wines, and we are proud to give back to the community that we have been a part of for so long,” says Ken.
Each tasting costs R150 per person or R250 per couple and is limited to 40 guests. Pre-booking is essential and tickets are available at www.quicket.co.za or in the tasting room. The Johannesburg series bookings will go live on Quicket on the 20th June 2019.
