September Cellar Door Specials
Our award-winning Steenberg Ruby Rosé 2017 is on special at a 20% discount for R68.80 per bottle. This wine has just won a Double Gold Award in the Rosé Rocks competition, and is proof that our Rosé is perfect for spring!

For The Perfect Sleep - Satin Pillowslips
Dear Deer Pillowslips are made from satin - a polyester material - which does not absorb moisture the way natural fibres like cotton do. One of the many reasons our skin can look tired, dry and lined is due to a lack of hydration. Sleeping on satin minimises facial lines, wrinkles and puffiness.

Keeping things light and uncomplicated, Chef Archie Maclean has developed a new one-course menu with plenty of choice for a relaxed summer lunch. Select from a variety of salads, panini, toasted sandwiches, battered kingklip and chips and a gourmet Steenburger.

We have been offering an online booking service which is a simple and quick way to make reservations. Instead of calling or emailing, why not book on our website and instantly receive confirmed reservations.

Planting of New Vines
If you are a frequent visitor to our estate, you would have noticed the vacant land near the security entrance. This month we planted Sauvignon Blanc vines in this block and Syrah vines in one of the smaller blocks.

In a few years, our patience will be rewarded when these vines come into full production and bear cool-climate fruit with beautifully concentrated flavours.
