Boplaas Family Vineyards
The Boplaas Cape Vintage Reserve 2006 (the SA Champion Port Wine at the SAYWS) recently received an incredible score of 96 points from well-known sommellier and wine judge Miguel Chan. It is the highest score for a Cape Vintage Reserve ever! It was also the winner of the Museum Class at the CAPPA Challenge and a double gold medal winner at Veritas, while it was honoured with 5 stars in the authoritative Platters Wine Guide.
The Boplaas Gamka 2012 is a blend of the Portuguese varieties touriga nacional and tinta barocca, and shiraz. This wine won a Gran D’Or medal at the Michelangelo International Wine Awards, and was also included in the SA Top 100 wines list.
