Fleur du Cap Noble Late makes Platter history with 7 consecutive 5-Stars

Undeniably one of South Africa's top dessert wines, Fleur du Cap Noble Late Harvest 2012 is the latest vintage to receive 5-Star top honours in the 2014 edition of South Africa’s definitive wine guide. 

 

A gorgeous blend of Chenin blanc (97%) with just a dash of Sauvignon blanc and Chardonnay, Fleur du Cap Noble Late Harvest 2012 shows beautiful floral notes complemented by aromas of raisins, marmalade and whiffs of typical dusty botrytis. Dried apricots and peaches meld with well-balanced acidity on the palate ending in a perfectly gorgeous aftertaste.

 

"Achieving 5-star ratings for seven consecutive vintages of our Noble Late Harvest is great news and just goes to show what can be achieved through team work, starting with our viticulturist, producers and their staff in the vineyards to the entire white wine making team in the cellar. The 5-star Fleur du Cap Noble Late Harvest 2012 will only be released in 2014, but its 5-star predecessors are still readily available at Die Bergkelder and other fine wine shops selling at around R119.
