Winemaker Jan van Rooyen had a busy few months putting the final touches to no less than four of our horse themed Premiere range wines.
The tasting room now offers a brand-new quartet of wines to link up with the existing 2010 Luna de Miel and recently released 2011 Minelli Pinot Noir Reserve. Helderberg Wine Festival draws the crowds
The 6th annual Helderberg Wine Festival takes place from Thursday, 14 November – Sunday, 17 November and Avontuur is one of the participants. On Thursday evening, we’re offering our wines for tasting and the restaurant’s salmon roses for sale at the Six Senses evening at Waterkloof and from Friday till Sunday, we’re on the farm, with festival goers only getting the chance to taste the Premiere range for free.
