Phil, MW formerly Tesco’s Product Development Manager in Australia, has a vast experience to source wine in Australia and he will be able to contribute to the success of the brand which has just been launched in Holland.
“We believe it is paramount to have a presence in Australia to ensure the quality of our brand. We want to be consequent with our ambitious target hence the appointment of Phil” says Bernard Fontannaz, Managing Director of Origin Wine.
Over the past 10 years, Origin Wine has become one of the leading wine exporters from South Africa, and has successfully extended his supply base into France, Spain and Italy.
“We believe that our supplier model, based on innovation, economies of scale, flexibility and reliability is the right model for the market, by opposition, of an agency model thus we see some very good potential ahead of us” stated Bernard.
