Delheim Estate
Music group performs live and for mahala at wine estate

Fans of classical music must make their way to Delheim Estate outside Stellenbosch on Sunday, 20 October, when the vibrant Dutch string orchestra, Lundi Bleu, will present a free lunchtime concert at this beautiful wine farm as part of their African tour.

Founded in 2005, this talented ensemble of young musicians from Amsterdam has been invited to play for King Letsie III of Lesotho on his 50th birthday and as part of their African tour they will grace Delheim with their presence with a live performance on the terrace under towering oaks. Their programme will include works by Tchaikovsky, Andriessen, Grieg, Vivaldi, Puccini, Piazzolla and more.

So why not make a day of it and book your table for a languid lunch at the estate’s ever popular Garden Restaurant. Delheim was the first wine estate in the country to serve food almost four decades ago and today its family-friendly restaurant with its stunning setting remains a firm favourite, celebrated for its homely atmosphere and comfort food.

Lundi Bleu’s performance at Delheim will be from 13h00 until 13h45 – so join the estate and end your weekend on a high note.

For more information or to reserve your table, contact Delheim at Tel 021 888 4607 or send and email to restaurant@delheim.com. Early bookings are advised.

Delheim is located in the Simonsberg sub-region of the Stellenbosch Wine Routes, on the Knorhoek Road, off the R44.
