Although loosely based on the white dinners
held in Paris, the aim is primarily to create a fundraiser for
Cheetah Outreach and Cotlands.
Guests will be provided with white tables
and chairs, a white-themed 3-course menu, a welcome drink courtesy of Checkers
Oddbins or Triggerfish brewing and mood lighting; with classical guitarist
Johan Rautenbach providing mellow background music. Guests are asked to bring their own crockery,
cutlery, overlays, glassware and table décor and are to be dressed in elegant
white. A cash bar is available.
All ticket holders will be informed of the exact venue within Paardevlei via
sms and email at 15h00 on the day and the location will be a secret until then.
Bookings are essential and can be made at www.plankton.mobi @ R220 pp.
“The White Nights Dinner would not be
possible without the generous support of
sponsors like Triggerfish Brewing, Checkers Oddbins wines, Chef Bernice van der
Merwe of My BasaarCafe and Catering in Cape Town and Vanessa Lampon of
Vanessa’s Vintage who is assisting with the set-up,” says the organiser, Cobie
van Oort.
Feast of Flavours is on at Paardevlei on
