Spier's 21 Gables achieves great results in the Korean Wine Challenge

The ninth Korean Wine Challenge recently announced their results and Spier 21 Gables wines were the only South African wines to win a Gold and Silver medal.
The Spier 21 Gables Pinotage 2010 won a GOLD medal and the 21 Gables Chenin Blanc 2011 won a SILVER medal.

The Korean Wine Challenge aims to introduce great international wines to the country by selecting the best wine for the Korean palate. Wines that perform well in this competition have great growth opportunities in the emerging wine market.

Of the 550 wines entered by 16 countries, the following results emerged:
  • 5 Trophy wines
  • 9 Best Red
  • 58 Gold Medals
  • 73 Silver Medals
