Le Bonheur's 2012 Chardonnay has wowed the judges of Canada's Sélections Mondiales des Vins, to win an A+ score and a gold medal.
Now in its 30th year, the competition, held in Quebec, is one of the most important quality showcases in the international world of wine. A delicious food wine, made in the classical style, it's medium-bodied, elegantly crisp and dry. Winemaker Sakkie Kotzé recommends serving it with cream-based dishes, as its lively acidity acts as a counterpoint to their richness, keeping the palate wonderfully refreshed.
