Winemaker, Dawie Botha describes the wine as displaying delicate violet aromas which overlay characteristic cassis and tobacco leaf typical of the Cabernet Sauvignon, both of which define the elegant, layered palate in this particular example of the wine. This wine is supple and lithe in structure with a texture that gives it a superbly polished mouthful and a long lingering aftertaste.
