Hotel Izulu Welcomes Ken Forrester to April Wine Market

The 5-star Hotel Izulu in Ballito will host their renowned monthly wine market on Sunday, April 28 in conjunction with Ken Forrester from 12h00 with new food pairings created by Executive Chef, Karel Jacobs, at the cost of R175.00 per adult while being entertained by the band ‘Afritude’.
The food and wine pairing option on the day are - Fettuccine pasta with rocket, Rosa tomato and Macadamia nut pesto served with parmesan shaving paired with Ken Forrester Petit Sauvignon Blanc and artichoke and lemon salad with rocket and roast pork paired with Ken Forrester Petit Chenin.

Further options include Chicken satay with a green peppercorn and mustard sauce paired with Ken Forrester Sauvignon Blanc, lemon and fennel grilled prawns with Cajun spiced potato wedges paired with Ken Forrester Old Vine Reserve Chenin Blanc and beef and onion stew with rosemary polenta paired with Ken Forrester Petit Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot blend

For the Kid’s, a selection of burgers, hot dogs and ice cream cones.

Also on offer will be Hotel Izulu’s Deli which will include soup, cheese boards, breads, biscuits and our famous fudge.

All of the wines are available for purchase at a special reduced price by the bottle. Wine chillers are also available to purchase at R79 each.
