Lace up those trainers, round up your loved ones and kick up a storm on Worker’s Day at the OBiKWA May-day Meander, a fund-raiser for wheelchairs being held at the Lowveld Botanical Garden in Nelspruit on Wednesday, 1 May 2013.
Presented in association with the Rotary International, this fundraising initiative to buy wheel chairs for people in need in the local community, is an exhilarating and fun way to make a difference. The leisurely two kilometre meander kicks off at 11h00 at the Lowveld Botanical Garden. With four wine tasting watering holes along the route, you’ll have the opportunity to join the OBiKWA tribe and taste their great value, fun loving varietal wines. More rewards await intrepid participants at the finish with spot prizes galore, country food stalls, live music and much more.
Be sure to arrive with a backpack full of energy to show your support of this worthy cause. Life is a journey worth celebrating with friends and family so go on; stick your neck out and take part in the OBiKWA May-day Meander!
Adult tickets cost R150 per person, including an OBiKWA goody bag valued at R250 whilst children between the ages of 6 and 17 pay R10 and under 5’s are free. Tickets are limited and are available from the following Nelspruit outlets: River Side Mall Info Kiosk, Super Spar The Grove, various Rooikat bottle stores, as well as at the gate on the day – while they last!
