Indigo expands sales force to meet growing demand for SA wines in the US

Johann Meissenheimer, Managing Director of the Indigo Wine Group, a national wine importing company that specializes in South African wines, announced the appointment of Linda D. Davis as Midwest Regional Sales Manager, effective immediately.
“We are completely vested in supporting our distributors and their customers in growing the South African category,” Meissenheimer stated. “Linda comes to us with an impressive sixteen-plus years experience in the wine industry. Her knowledge and expertise will serve our distributors well and will assist us in achieving our long term goal of becoming the premium importer for South African wines in the United States.”

Based in Chicago, Illinois, Davis will work in partnership with Indigo’s distributors in Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Kansas and Iowa, developing and implementing sales and marketing activities for Indigo’s extensive collection of South African wines, including Bouchard Finlayson, Groot Constantia, Rustenberg Estates and Robertson Winery.

Davis comes to Indigo from US import company, Dreyfus Ashby & Company, where she was employed as their Regional Sales Manager. Previously she worked as the Illinois Sales Manager for famed Charles Krug Winery of Napa Valley and as a Sales Representative with Illinois distributor, Pacific Wine & Spirits.

Based in Venice, Florida and celebrating its eleventh year, the Indigo Wine Group works with over 65 distributors in 45 states.
