Beat the Winter Blues this year at the first ever “We Luv Wine” Festival at the Cape Gate Shopping Precinct in Cape Town on Thursday, 20 June and Friday, 21 June from 17h00-21h00.
Wine lovers can taste and buy more than 100 wines directly from the producers and a wide selection to suit every palate and wallet, ranging from Red, White, Dry and Sweet right through to Port, bubbly and pot-stilled brandy, is on offer.

Some of the wineries participating are: Avontuur Estate, Groenland, Hidden Valley, Koelenhof, Du Toitskloof, Landskroon, Orange River Cellars, Riebeek Cellars, Checkers Oddbins, Vergenoegd and Lourensford Wine Estate.

Many exhibitors will present related products like cheese, olives, olive oil and chocolates at their wine stalls as well. Comfy seating and and a café-style eating area to enjoy some home cooked warming meals, presented by local charity organisation Shiloh Synergy(who is also the main beneficiary of the event), will ensure a feeling of well-being before facing the elements again.

Tickets are R50 person (includes tasting glass) and are available from 1 May at the Information Desks in the Cape Gate Centre and at the TicketBreak website. Tickets will also be available at the door.
