It's a good start to the day when you can read something positive but it's even better when you can share it with others.

Entries into the Adoro charity competition have got us feeling proud to be in SA. Here's a selection of stories to get you all warm and fuzzy.
Vanessa Brueton
We adopted her from Border Collie Rescue in September 2012. Her previous 'owner' had sold her for a six-pack of beer and she had severe mange. Border Collie Rescue took her in and started her on treatment for the mange.  I saw her photo on Border Collie Rescue's website and well absolutely in love with her. The rest, as they say, is history. At first she was a shy but after a few months she has blossomed into a joyous happy crazy (and naughty) thing. She loves swimming in the river during our visits to the park and she has really added a new dimension to my life.  Not only did Border Collie Rescue saved Panda, they also gave me my best friend. Border Collies are sadly often given up because they are high maintenance dogs. Border Collie Rescue makes sure that these dogs find a forever home. I can't thank them enough for looking after Panda before we found each other.
