Paint the town pink this Valentine’s Day with one of South Africa’s iconic rosés, the 2012 Lanzerac Rosé. Traditionally regarded as a lady’s drink it has been growing in popularity amongst men as it is a lower alcohol wine, affording wine enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy it wholeheartedly.
In celebration of the ‘month of love’ visitors to Lanzerac Wine Estate in Stellenbosch will receive a 10% discount when purchasing directly from the Cellar Door, applicable between the 11th and 17th of February. While at the farm enjoy a delicious cheese platter with your loved one, served with a complimentary glass of chilled Rosé. Round off your visit with a Rosé gift set which includes a bottle of the 2012 Lanzerac Rosé and a Rosé Geranium flavoured chocolate slab, specially paired to enhance the flavours of this superb wine.

Winemaker, Wynand Lategan describes the wine as a bright pink blush colour. The nose displays aromas of early summer fruit such as sweet strawberries, youngberry and hints of cranberries. The palate is fresh, friendly, clean approachable and not overpowering, but will linger with each sip. The perfect summer tipple, enjoy on its own or with a fresh salad, summer fruits or a light lunch.

Available directly from Lanzerac Wine Farm or from most retail outlets nationwide, the 2012 Lanzerac Rosé retails for approximately R50 per bottle.
