Elgin Open Wine Weekend is celebrating aromatic whites and blends

Situated some 70 Kilometres east of Cape Town, this valley captures the essence of exquisite beauty in each and every bottle of wine.
The Elgin Valley offers wine lovers a range of cellar experiences worth taking a meandering trip off the beaten track. Bring your friends and enjoy the weekend with us as  Sixteen wine estates are  opening their doors and bottles of wine in an indulging cool climate taste experience.

The Elegantly Elgin Wine route runs through a series of Open Wine Weekends, where once a month sixteen wine estates will open their cellar doors to the public allowing visitors to fully experience all the Elgin wine has to offer. Cellars will be creating an experiential weekend around wine during these open wine weekends with a focus on specific varietals each month. The estates will run normal operations for the remaining part of the month.

Varietal focused themed months will be held allowing you an in-depth look and mouth feel into our wines. January  we are celebrating the Aromatic whites and blends. All wineries will have their full range available for tastings, as the varietal themed month is an added benefit to our visitor experience.
