Yes, of course you meant that. Silly me. Well, it seems you can go one of three ways; you can question why your Boss is such a cheapskate for not providing the necessary booze. This may lead to your fellow colleagues agreeing with you and you all staging a coup which may or may not lead to you being fired and your name being tarnished. You could spend a ridiculous amount of money on a pretty bottle with suspicious contents which, after the consumption of 7 other bottles of wine, no one would be able to tell the difference but your wallet may feel the blow. Or, you could go for substance over style, find out what the theme of the night is and what food will be paired and then offer to match your wine with a course (you can check our Pinterest page for pairing ideas). This will guarantee brownie points with the Boss and your colleagues will marvel at your knowledge and wisdom.
