Saronberg
Saronsberg Shiraz 2010 scores FIVE STARS
Nestled at the foot of the mountain where we derive our name, Saronsberg has proven to be the most consistently awarded Shiraz’s in SA since the maiden vintage 2004! Each vintage, this wine is adorned with awards.
The 2010 received Top 100 SA Wine, scored 4th in the World at the Syrah du Monde and received a Gold at Michelangelo.

Crowning glory we humbly accept the John Platter 5 Star award!

Shiraz is ideally suited to the farm’s unique terroir and therefore forms its main focus. This cultivar is expressed in various styles, on its own in the Saronsberg Shiraz, as well as in the Full Circle which has just received Gold at the Five Nations, proudly South African!

The consistent performance of Saronsberg led to Dewaldt Heyns being nominated and accepted as a member of the prestigious Cape Winemakers Guild in 2008
Saronsberg is proud to be a member of WIETA, BWI and IPW as it is our aim to follow a socially and environmentally responsible approach in both our farming and winemaking practices.
