As all the build up to the festive season approaches Jacques de Jager and his team at The Restaurant have just released details of their gorgeous Christmas and New Year menus. This year a Russian Buffet theme with family-style dining predominates with lunch and dinner events on Thursday 24 December and Friday 25 December 2009. Jacques' superb new summer á la carte menus are to be served as either three, four or five courses for lunch and dinner on Saturday 26 December. Lunch at The Restaurant on Thursday 31 December starts a gentle build up to New Year's Eve celebrations that night. The New Year's dinner promises to be a truly enjoyable and fun gala event for all. Live music provided by a string instrument duo will entertain guests at dinner on Christmas Eve and lunch on Christmas Day will be accompanied by the sounds of the Misty Blue Jazz Ensemble. Entertainment on New Year's Eve is provided by the popular Marimba Vibrations musicians.
