Klawer Wine Cellars
There’s a quote that states: “the earth without art is just eh”, and at Klawer Wine Cellars we agree!

You would think that the potential of art in relatively small towns like Klawer and Vredendal will be rare, which is false! Ten local artists made the opening of the art show at Klawer Wine Cellars on Saturday 14 July possible, and a huge success by creating a beautiful display of 28 paintings.

Faces of the Namaqua West Coast was the theme, and each painting tells a different story whether it’s the feeling of love, sorrow or happiness. Each artist used a different technique on their canvas, such as oil paint, acrylic or pencil.

With the beauty of the paintings in the background, we had two local poets, Florence Filton and Elza Smal, with us. Both of them read a few poems, which captured the audience in such a beautiful way.

We are so blessed with the talent we have in our area and will proceed by giving them the credit which they deserve. The paintings will be showcased throughout the month of July and are available to buy.
